Eric Biggers ace72d708f arm64: support keyctl() system call in 32-bit mode
[ Upstream commit 5c2a625937ba49bc691089370638223d310cda9a ]

As is the case for a number of other architectures that have a 32-bit
compat mode, enable KEYS_COMPAT if both COMPAT and KEYS are enabled.
This allows AArch32 programs to use the keyctl() system call when
running on an AArch64 kernel.

Will Deacon ca66d14e62 arm64: Add skeleton to harden the branch predictor against aliasing attacks.
Aliasing attacks against CPU branch predictors can allow an attacker to
redirect speculative control flow on some CPUs and potentially divulge
information from one context to another.

This patch adds initial skeleton code behind a new Kconfig option to
enable implementation-specific mitigations against these attacks for
CPUs that are affected.

dcashman 8b1a215ddc BACKPORT: FROMLIST: arm64: mm: support ARCH_MMAP_RND_BITS.
(cherry picked from commit https://lkml.org/lkml/2015/12/21/340)

arm64: arch_mmap_rnd() uses STACK_RND_MASK to generate the
random offset for the mmap base address. This value represents a
compromise between increased ASLR effectiveness and avoiding
address-space fragmentation. Replace it with a Kconfig option, which
is sensibly bounded, so that platform developers may choose where to
place this compromise. Keep default values as new minimums.

AKASHI Takahiro a450aec8ad arm64: add seccomp support
Note: This patch is from v6 of Takahiro's proposed
"arm64: add seccomp support" patchset (leecam@google.com)

secure_computing() is called first in syscall_trace_enter() so that a system
call will be aborted quickly without doing succeeding syscall tracing,
contrary to other cases, if seccomp rules deny that system call.

On compat task, syscall numbers for system calls allowed in seccomp mode 1
are different from those on normal tasks, and so _NR_seccomp_xxx_32's need
to be redefined.

Merge commit 'v3.10.67' into msm-3.10

This merge brings us up to date with upstream kernel.org tag v3.10.67.
It also contains changes to allow forbidden warnings introduced in
the commit 'core, nfqueue, openvswitch: Orphan frags in skb_zerocopy
and handle errors'. Once upstream has corrected these warnings, the
changes to scripts/gcc-wrapper.py, in this commit, can be reverted.

Vignesh Radhakrishnan 0d672f8da3 Kconfig: select RCU_BOOST if Kmemleak is enabled
ARCH_MSM8916 and ARCH_MSM8909 based targets have been observed
to queue up too many kmemleak RCU callbacks. This leads to timer
interrupt getting scheduled for every jiffy for an extended
period of time. We end up starving pending tasks causing
undesired effects like watchdog timeout.

Enable RCU_BOOST to ensure read side critical sections get over
quickly and thus ensuring callbacks get executed faster.

Will Deacon 10271b903f arm64: errata: add workaround for cortex-a53 erratum #845719
When running a compat (AArch32) userspace on Cortex-A53, a load at EL0
from a virtual address that matches the bottom 32 bits of the virtual
address used by a recent load at (AArch64) EL1 might return incorrect
data.

This patch works around the issue by writing to the contextidr_el1
register on the exception return path when returning to a 32-bit task.
This workaround is patched in at runtime based on the MIDR value of the
processor.

Rohit Vaswani 458ac31f99 arm64: Add support for Cortex-A57 Erratum 832075
This Erratum explains the problem that a Cortex-A57 might deadlock
when WB exclusive load/store instructions are mixed with device loads.
An interrupt will break the deadlock.
This erratum requires a particular sequence of the code:
a) A pair of exclusive load and exclusive store instructions.
The exclusive store is to write-back memory location.
b) A branch instruction has a source register which is the same as
the destination register of the older exclusive store.
c) Following the branch instruction, there are six or more loads
to device memory locations

The workaround is to substitute the ldr instruction for load from
device memory to be ldar

Mark Salter cccb799172 arm64: add EFI runtime services
This patch adds EFI runtime support for arm64. This runtime support allows
the kernel to access various EFI runtime services provided by EFI firmware.
Things like reboot, real time clock, EFI boot variables, and others.

This functionality is supported for little endian kernels only. The UEFI
firmware standard specifies that the firmware be little endian. A future
patch is expected to add support for big endian kernels running with
little endian firmware.

Uwe Kleine-König 2b4cc3cb58 Kconfig: rename HAS_IOPORT to HAS_IOPORT_MAP
If the renamed symbol is defined lib/iomap.c implements ioport_map and
ioport_unmap and currently (nearly) all platforms define the port
accessor functions outb/inb and friend unconditionally. So
HAS_IOPORT_MAP is the better name for this.

Consequently NO_IOPORT is renamed to NO_IOPORT_MAP.

The motivation for this change is to reintroduce a symbol HAS_IOPORT
that signals if outb/int et al are available. I will address that at
least one merge window later though to keep surprises to a minimum and
catch new introductions of (HAS|NO)_IOPORT.

The changes in this commit were done using:

	$ git grep -l -E '(NO|HAS)_IOPORT' | xargs perl -p -i -e 's/\b((?:CONFIG_)?(?:NO|HAS)_IOPORT)\b/$1_MAP/'

AKASHI Takahiro dc93e6959a arm64: ftrace: Add system call tracepoint
This patch allows system call entry or exit to be traced as ftrace events,
ie. sys_enter_*/sys_exit_*, if CONFIG_FTRACE_SYSCALLS is enabled.
Those events appear and can be controlled under
    ${sysfs}/tracing/events/syscalls/

Please note that we can't trace compat system calls here because
AArch32 mode does not share the same syscall table with AArch64.
Just define ARCH_TRACE_IGNORE_COMPAT_SYSCALLS in order to avoid unexpected
results (bogus syscalls reported or even hang-up).

AKASHI Takahiro fd6c7ce5cf arm64: ftrace: Add dynamic ftrace support
This patch allows "dynamic ftrace" if CONFIG_DYNAMIC_FTRACE is enabled.
Here we can turn on and off tracing dynamically per-function base.

On arm64, this is done by patching single branch instruction to _mcount()
inserted by gcc -pg option. The branch is replaced to NOP initially at
kernel start up, and later on, NOP to branch to ftrace_caller() when
enabled or branch to NOP when disabled.
Please note that ftrace_caller() is a counterpart of _mcount() in case of
'static' ftrace.

More details on architecture specific requirements are described in
Documentation/trace/ftrace-design.txt.

AKASHI Takahiro 5fd69ec9ab arm64: Add ftrace support
This patch implements arm64 specific part to support function tracers,
such as function (CONFIG_FUNCTION_TRACER), function_graph
(CONFIG_FUNCTION_GRAPH_TRACER) and function profiler
(CONFIG_FUNCTION_PROFILER).

With 'function' tracer, all the functions in the kernel are traced with
timestamps in ${sysfs}/tracing/trace. If function_graph tracer is
specified, call graph is generated.

The kernel must be compiled with -pg option so that _mcount() is inserted
at the beginning of functions. This function is called on every function's
entry as long as tracing is enabled.
In addition, function_graph tracer also needs to be able to probe function's
exit. ftrace_graph_caller() & return_to_handler do this by faking link
register's value to intercept function's return path.

More details on architecture specific requirements are described in
Documentation/trace/ftrace-design.txt.

AKASHI Takahiro 5995a7fdcb ftrace: Add arm64 support to recordmcount
Recordmcount utility under scripts is run, after compiling each object,
to find out all the locations of calling _mcount() and put them into
specific seciton named __mcount_loc.
Then linker collects all such information into a table in the kernel image
(between __start_mcount_loc and __stop_mcount_loc) for later use by ftrace.

This patch adds arm64 specific definitions to identify such locations.
There are two types of implementation, C and Perl. On arm64, only C version
is used to build the kernel now that CONFIG_HAVE_C_RECORDMCOUNT is on.
But Perl version is also maintained.

This patch also contains a workaround just in case where a header file,
elf.h, on host machine doesn't have definitions of EM_AARCH64 nor
R_AARCH64_ABS64. Without them, compiling C version of recordmcount will
fail.
