Seunghun Han 94bee3919a x86/acpi: Prevent out of bound access caused by broken ACPI tables
The bus_irq argument of mp_override_legacy_irq() is used as the index into
the isa_irq_to_gsi[] array. The bus_irq argument originates from
ACPI_MADT_TYPE_IO_APIC and ACPI_MADT_TYPE_INTERRUPT items in the ACPI
tables, but is nowhere sanity checked.

That allows broken or malicious ACPI tables to overwrite memory, which
might cause malfunction, panic or arbitrary code execution.

Add a sanity check and emit a warning when that triggers.

Seunghun Han 209a575329 x86/MCE: Serialize sysfs changes
The check_interval file in

  /sys/devices/system/machinecheck/machinecheck<cpu number>

directory is a global timer value for MCE polling. If it is changed by one
CPU, mce_restart() broadcasts the event to other CPUs to delete and restart
the MCE polling timer and __mcheck_cpu_init_timer() reinitializes the
mce_timer variable.

If more than one CPU writes a specific value to the check_interval file
concurrently, mce_timer is not protected from such concurrent accesses and
all kinds of explosions happen. Since only root can write to those sysfs
variables, the issue is not a big deal security-wise.

However, concurrent writes to these configuration variables is void of
reason so the proper thing to do is to serialize the access with a mutex.

Hugh Dickins 1448dc70cd mm: larger stack guard gap, between vmas

Stack guard page is a useful feature to reduce a risk of stack smashing
into a different mapping. We have been using a single page gap which
is sufficient to prevent having stack adjacent to a different mapping.
But this seems to be insufficient in the light of the stack usage in
userspace. E.g. glibc uses as large as 64kB alloca() in many commonly
used functions. Others use constructs liks gid_t buffer[NGROUPS_MAX]
which is 256kB or stack strings with MAX_ARG_STRLEN.

This will become especially dangerous for suid binaries and the default
no limit for the stack size limit because those applications can be
tricked to consume a large portion of the stack and a single glibc call
could jump over the guard page. These attacks are not theoretical,
unfortunatelly.

Make those attacks less probable by increasing the stack guard gap
to 1MB (on systems with 4k pages; but make it depend on the page size
because systems with larger base pages might cap stack allocations in
the PAGE_SIZE units) which should cover larger alloca() and VLA stack
allocations. It is obviously not a full fix because the problem is
somehow inherent, but it should reduce attack space a lot.

One could argue that the gap size should be configurable from userspace,
but that can be done later when somebody finds that the new 1MB is wrong
for some special case applications.  For now, add a kernel command line
option (stack_guard_gap) to specify the stack gap size (in page units).

Implementation wise, first delete all the old code for stack guard page:
because although we could get away with accounting one extra page in a
stack vma, accounting a larger gap can break userspace - case in point,
a program run with "ulimit -S -v 20000" failed when the 1MB gap was
counted for RLIMIT_AS; similar problems could come with RLIMIT_MLOCK
and strict non-overcommit mode.

Instead of keeping gap inside the stack vma, maintain the stack guard
gap as a gap between vmas: using vm_start_gap() in place of vm_start
(or vm_end_gap() in place of vm_end if VM_GROWSUP) in just those few
places which need to respect the gap - mainly arch_get_unmapped_area(),
and and the vma tree's subtree_gap support for that.

Andi Kleen 750fc132a8 perf/x86/intel: Fix PEBS data source interpretation on Nehalem/Westmere

Jiri reported some time ago that some entries in the PEBS data source table
in perf do not agree with the SDM. We investigated and the bits
changed for Sandy Bridge, but the SDM was not updated.

perf already implements the bits correctly for Sandy Bridge
and later. This patch patches it up for Nehalem and Westmere.

Andy Lutomirski 721485b62f x86/iopl: Fix iopl capability check on Xen PV

iopl(3) is supposed to work if iopl is already 3, even if
unprivileged.  This didn't work right on Xen PV.  Fix it.

On Xen PV, regs->flags doesn't reliably reflect IOPL and the
exit-to-userspace code doesn't change IOPL.  We need to context
switch it manually.

I'm doing this without going through paravirt because this is
specific to Xen PV.  After the dust settles, we can merge this with
the 32-bit code, tidy up the iopl syscall implementation, and remove
the set_iopl pvop entirely.

Pause/unpause graph tracing around do_suspend_lowlevel as it has
inconsistent call/return info after it jumps to the wakeup vector.
The graph trace buffer will otherwise become misaligned and
may eventually crash and hang on suspend.

To reproduce the issue and test the fix:
Run a function_graph trace over suspend/resume and set the graph
function to suspend_devices_and_enter. This consistently hangs the
system without this fix.

Andy Lutomirski 4800af9122 x86/asm/irq: Stop relying on magic JMP behavior for early_idt_handlers

The early_idt_handlers asm code generates an array of entry
points spaced nine bytes apart.  It's not really clear from that
code or from the places that reference it what's going on, and
the code only works in the first place because GAS never
generates two-byte JMP instructions when jumping to global
labels.

Clean up the code to generate the correct array stride (member size)
explicitly. This should be considerably more robust against
screw-ups, as GAS will warn if a .fill directive has a negative
count.  Using '. =' to advance would have been even more robust
(it would generate an actual error if it tried to move
backwards), but it would pad with nulls, confusing anyone who
tries to disassemble the code.  The new scheme should be much
clearer to future readers.

While we're at it, improve the comments and rename the array and
common code.

Binutils may start relaxing jumps to non-weak labels.  If so,
this change will fix our build, and we may need to backport this
change.

When restarting a syscall with regs->ax == -ERESTART_RESTARTBLOCK,
regs->ax is assigned to a restart_syscall number.  For x32 tasks, this
syscall number must have __X32_SYSCALL_BIT set, otherwise it will be
an x86_64 syscall number instead of a valid x32 syscall number. This
issue has been there since the introduction of x32.

Andrew Cooper 8fa88fa850 x86/cpu: Fix SMAP check in PVOPS environments

There appears to be no formal statement of what pv_irq_ops.save_fl() is
supposed to return precisely.  Native returns the full flags, while lguest and
Xen only return the Interrupt Flag, and both have comments by the
implementations stating that only the Interrupt Flag is looked at.  This may
have been true when initially implemented, but no longer is.

To make matters worse, the Xen PVOP leaves the upper bits undefined, making
the BUG_ON() undefined behaviour.  Experimentally, this now trips for 32bit PV
guests on Broadwell hardware.  The BUG_ON() is consistent for an individual
build, but not consistent for all builds.  It has also been a sitting timebomb
since SMAP support was introduced.

Use native_save_fl() instead, which will obtain an accurate view of the AC
flag.

Borislav Petkov 8f14777b58 x86/cpu: Call verify_cpu() after having entered long mode too
commit 04633df0c43d710e5f696b06539c100898678235 upstream.

When we get loaded by a 64-bit bootloader, kernel entry point is
startup_64 in head_64.S. We don't trust any and all bootloaders because
some will fiddle with CPU configuration so we go ahead and massage each
CPU into sanity again.

For example, some dell BIOSes have this XD disable feature which set
IA32_MISC_ENABLE[34] and disable NX. This might be some dumb workaround
for other OSes but Linux sure doesn't need it.

A similar thing is present in the Surface 3 firmware - see
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106051 - which sets this bit
only on the BSP:

There's not even an off switch in there.

So fix all those cases by sanitizing the 64-bit entry point too. For

Krzysztof Mazur 308b1b0433 x86/setup: Fix low identity map for >= 2GB kernel range

The commit f5f3497cad8c extended the low identity mapping. However, if
the kernel uses more than 2 GB (VMSPLIT_2G_OPT or VMSPLIT_1G memory
split), the normal memory mapping is overwritten by the low identity
mapping causing a crash. To avoid overwritting, limit the low identity
map to cover only memory before kernel range (PAGE_OFFSET).

Paolo Bonzini fa4fbf7138 x86/setup: Extend low identity map to cover whole kernel range

On 32-bit systems, the initial_page_table is reused by
efi_call_phys_prolog as an identity map to call
SetVirtualAddressMap.  efi_call_phys_prolog takes care of
converting the current CPU's GDT to a physical address too.

For PAE kernels the identity mapping is achieved by aliasing the
first PDPE for the kernel memory mapping into the first PDPE
of initial_page_table.  This makes the EFI stub's trick "just work".

However, for non-PAE kernels there is no guarantee that the identity
mapping in the initial_page_table extends as far as the GDT; in this
case, accesses to the GDT will cause a page fault (which quickly becomes
a triple fault).  Fix this by copying the kernel mappings from
swapper_pg_dir to initial_page_table twice, both at PAGE_OFFSET and at
identity mapping.

For some reason, this is only reproducible with QEMU's dynamic translation
mode, and not for example with KVM.  However, even under KVM one can clearly
see that the page table is bogus:

[ It appears that you can skate past this issue if you don't receive
  any interrupts while the bogus GDT pointer is loaded, or if you avoid
  reloading the segment registers in general.

  Andy Lutomirski provides some additional insight:

   "AFAICT it's entirely permissible for the GDTR and/or LDT
    descriptor to point to unmapped memory.  Any attempt to use them
    (segment loads, interrupts, IRET, etc) will try to access that memory
    as if the access came from CPL 0 and, if the access fails, will
    generate a valid page fault with CR2 pointing into the GDT or
    LDT."

  Up until commit 23a0d4e8fa6d ("efi: Disable interrupts around EFI
  calls, not in the epilog/prolog calls") interrupts were disabled
  around the prolog and epilog calls, and the functional GDT was
  re-installed before interrupts were re-enabled.

  Which explains why no one has hit this issue until now. ]

Kees Cook b205d6f7b1 x86, kaslr: randomize module base load address
Randomize the load address of modules in the kernel to make kASLR
effective for modules.  Modules can only be loaded within a particular
range of virtual address space.  This patch adds 10 bits of entropy to
the load address by adding 1-1024 * PAGE_SIZE to the beginning range
where modules are loaded.

The single base offset was chosen because randomizing each module
load ends up wasting/fragmenting memory too much. Prior approaches to
minimizing fragmentation while doing randomization tend to result in
worse entropy than just doing a single base address offset.

David Woodhouse 9870892fc2 x86/platform: Fix Geode LX timekeeping in the generic x86 build

In 2007, commit 07190a08ee ("Mark TSC on GeodeLX reliable")
bypassed verification of the TSC on Geode LX. However, this code
(now in the check_system_tsc_reliable() function in
arch/x86/kernel/tsc.c) was only present if CONFIG_MGEODE_LX was
set.

OpenWRT has recently started building its generic Geode target
for Geode GX, not LX, to include support for additional
platforms. This broke the timekeeping on LX-based devices,
because the TSC wasn't marked as reliable:

By adding a runtime check on is_geode_lx(), we can also include
the fix if CONFIG_MGEODEGX1 or CONFIG_X86_GENERIC are set, thus
fixing the problem.

Shaohua Li ffebdff74f x86/apic: Serialize LVTT and TSC_DEADLINE writes

The APIC LVTT register is MMIO mapped but the TSC_DEADLINE register is an
MSR. The write to the TSC_DEADLINE MSR is not serializing, so it's not
guaranteed that the write to LVTT has reached the APIC before the
TSC_DEADLINE MSR is written. In such a case the write to the MSR is
ignored and as a consequence the local timer interrupt never fires.

The SDM decribes this issue for xAPIC and x2APIC modes. The
serialization methods recommended by the SDM differ.

xAPIC:
 "1. Memory-mapped write to LVT Timer Register, setting bits 18:17 to 10b.
  2. WRMSR to the IA32_TSC_DEADLINE MSR a value much larger than current time-stamp counter.
  3. If RDMSR of the IA32_TSC_DEADLINE MSR returns zero, go to step 2.
  4. WRMSR to the IA32_TSC_DEADLINE MSR the desired deadline."

x2APIC:
 "To allow for efficient access to the APIC registers in x2APIC mode,
  the serializing semantics of WRMSR are relaxed when writing to the
  APIC registers. Thus, system software should not use 'WRMSR to APIC
  registers in x2APIC mode' as a serializing instruction. Read and write
  accesses to the APIC registers will occur in program order. A WRMSR to
  an APIC register may complete before all preceding stores are globally
  visible; software can prevent this by inserting a serializing
  instruction, an SFENCE, or an MFENCE before the WRMSR."

The xAPIC method is to just wait for the memory mapped write to hit
the LVTT by checking whether the MSR write has reached the hardware.
There is no reason why a proper MFENCE after the memory mapped write would
not do the same. Andi Kleen confirmed that MFENCE is sufficient for the
xAPIC case as well.

Issue MFENCE before writing to the TSC_DEADLINE MSR. This can be done
unconditionally as all CPUs which have TSC_DEADLINE also have MFENCE
support.

Peter Zijlstra 3d8231988d perf/x86/amd: Rework AMD PMU init code

Josh reported that his QEMU is a bad hardware emulator and trips a
WARN in the AMD PMU init code. He requested the WARN be turned into a
pr_err() or similar.

mc_saved_tmp is a static array allocated on the stack, we need to make
sure mc_saved_count stays within its bounds, otherwise we're overflowing
the stack in _save_mc(). A specially crafted microcode header could lead
to a kernel crash or potentially kernel execution.

Andrey Ryabinin a37ad26828 kasan: enable instrumentation of global variables
This feature let us to detect accesses out of bounds of global variables.
This will work as for globals in kernel image, so for globals in modules.
Currently this won't work for symbols in user-specified sections (e.g.
__init, __read_mostly, ...)

The idea of this is simple.  Compiler increases each global variable by
redzone size and add constructors invoking __asan_register_globals()
function.  Information about global variable (address, size, size with
redzone ...) passed to __asan_register_globals() so we could poison
variable's redzone.

This patch also forces module_alloc() to return 8*PAGE_SIZE aligned
address making shadow memory handling (
kasan_module_alloc()/kasan_module_free() ) more simple.  Such alignment
guarantees that each shadow page backing modules address space correspond
to only one module_alloc() allocation.

Andrey Ryabinin abe03f8401 x86_64: add KASan support
This patch adds arch specific code for kernel address sanitizer.

16TB of virtual addressed used for shadow memory.  It's located in range
[ffffec0000000000 - fffffc0000000000] between vmemmap and %esp fixup
stacks.

At early stage we map whole shadow region with zero page.  Latter, after
pages mapped to direct mapping address range we unmap zero pages from
corresponding shadow (see kasan_map_shadow()) and allocate and map a real
shadow memory reusing vmemmap_populate() function.

Also replace __pa with __pa_nodebug before shadow initialized.  __pa with
CONFIG_DEBUG_VIRTUAL=y make external function call (__phys_addr)
__phys_addr is instrumented, so __asan_load could be called before shadow
area initialized.

Andrey Ryabinin ad86c2bb56 x86_64: kasan: add interceptors for memset/memmove/memcpy functions
Recently instrumentation of builtin functions calls was removed from GCC
5.0.  To check the memory accessed by such functions, userspace asan
always uses interceptors for them.

So now we should do this as well.  This patch declares
memset/memmove/memcpy as weak symbols.  In mm/kasan/kasan.c we have our
own implementation of those functions which checks memory before accessing
it.

Default memset/memmove/memcpy now now always have aliases with '__'
prefix.  For files that built without kasan instrumentation (e.g.
mm/slub.c) original mem* replaced (via #define) with prefixed variants,
cause we don't want to check memory accesses there.

Merge commit 'v3.10.73' into msm-3.10

This merge brings us up to date with upstream kernel.org tag v3.10.73.
As part of the conflict resolution, changes introduced by commit 72684eae7
("arm64: Fix up /proc/cpuinfo") have been intentionally dropped, as they
conflict with Android changes msm-3.10 kernel to solve the problems
in a different way. Since userspace readers of this file may depend on
the existing msm-3.10 implementation, it's left as-is for now. The
commit may later be introduced if it is found to not impact userspaces
paired with this kernel.

Oleg Nesterov 1e6d9ee062 x86/fpu: Avoid math_state_restore() without used_math() in __restore_xstate_sig()

math_state_restore() assumes it is called with irqs disabled,
but this is not true if the caller is __restore_xstate_sig().

This means that if ia32_fxstate == T and __copy_from_user()
fails, __restore_xstate_sig() returns with irqs disabled too.

        not check used_math(), it should set this flag. While
	init_fpu() should simply die. ]

Andy Lutomirski 22e764ee4b x86/asm/entry/64: Remove a bogus 'ret_from_fork' optimization

'ret_from_fork' checks TIF_IA32 to determine whether 'pt_regs' and
the related state make sense for 'ret_from_sys_call'.  This is
entirely the wrong check.  TS_COMPAT would make a little more
sense, but there's really no point in keeping this optimization
at all.

This fixes a return to the wrong user CS if we came from int
0x80 in a 64-bit task.

Andy Lutomirski d509b1d8c3 x86, tls: Interpret an all-zero struct user_desc as "no segment"

The Witcher 2 did something like this to allocate a TLS segment index:

Strictly speaking, this code was never correct.  It should have set
read_exec_only and seg_not_present to 1 to indicate that it wanted
to find a free slot without putting anything there, or it should
have put something sensible in the TLS slot if it wanted to allocate
a TLS entry for real.  The actual effect of this code was to
allocate a bogus segment that could be used to exploit espfix.

The set_thread_area hardening patches changed the behavior, causing
set_thread_area to return -EINVAL and crashing the game.

This changes set_thread_area to interpret this as a request to find
a free slot and to leave it empty, which isn't *quite* what the game
expects but should be close enough to keep it working.  In
particular, using the code above to allocate two segments will
allocate the same segment both times.

According to FrostbittenKing on Github, this fixes The Witcher 2.

If this somehow still causes problems, we could instead allocate
a limit==0 32-bit data segment, but that seems rather ugly to me.

Steven Rostedt (Red Hat) 1bd60326bf ftrace/jprobes/x86: Fix conflict between jprobes and function graph tracing

If the function graph tracer traces a jprobe callback, the system will
crash. This can easily be demonstrated by compiling the jprobe
sample module that is in the kernel tree, loading it and running the
function graph tracer.

 # ls

The first two commands end up in a nice crash after the first fork.
(do_fork has a jprobe attached to it, so "ls" just triggers that fork)

The problem is caused by the jprobe_return() that all jprobe callbacks
must end with. The way jprobes works is that the function a jprobe
is attached to has a breakpoint placed at the start of it (or it uses
ftrace if fentry is supported). The breakpoint handler (or ftrace callback)
will copy the stack frame and change the ip address to return to the
jprobe handler instead of the function. The jprobe handler must end
with jprobe_return() which swaps the stack and does an int3 (breakpoint).
This breakpoint handler will then put back the saved stack frame,
simulate the instruction at the beginning of the function it added
a breakpoint to, and then continue on.

For function tracing to work, it hijakes the return address from the
stack frame, and replaces it with a hook function that will trace
the end of the call. This hook function will restore the return
address of the function call.

If the function tracer traces the jprobe handler, the hook function
for that handler will not be called, and its saved return address
will be used for the next function. This will result in a kernel crash.

To solve this, pause function tracing before the jprobe handler is called
and unpause it before it returns back to the function it probed.

Some other updates:

Used a variable "saved_sp" to hold kcb->jprobe_saved_sp. This makes the
code look a bit cleaner and easier to understand (various tries to fix
this bug required this change).

Note, if fentry is being used, jprobes will change the ip address before
the function graph tracer runs and it will not be able to trace the
function that the jprobe is probing.

Jiri Olsa ac96652da2 perf/x86/intel/uncore: Make sure only uncore events are collected

The uncore_collect_events functions assumes that event group
might contain only uncore events which is wrong, because it
might contain any type of events.

This bug leads to uncore framework touching 'not' uncore events,
which could end up all sorts of bugs.

One was triggered by Vince's perf fuzzer, when the uncore code
touched breakpoint event private event space as if it was uncore
event and caused BUG:

   BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at ffffffff82822068
   IP: [<ffffffff81020338>] uncore_assign_events+0x188/0x250
   ...

The code in uncore_assign_events() function was looking for
event->hw.idx data while the event was initialized as a
breakpoint with different members in event->hw union.

This patch forces uncore_collect_events() to collect only uncore
events.

paravirt_enabled has the following effects:

 - Disables the F00F bug workaround warning.  There is no F00F bug
   workaround any more because Linux's standard IDT handling already
   works around the F00F bug, but the warning still exists.  This
   is only cosmetic, and, in any event, there is no such thing as
   KVM on a CPU with the F00F bug.

 - Disables 32-bit APM BIOS detection.  On a KVM paravirt system,
   there should be no APM BIOS anyway.

 - Disables tboot.  I think that the tboot code should check the
   CPUID hypervisor bit directly if it matters.

 - paravirt_enabled disables espfix32.  espfix32 should *not* be
   disabled under KVM paravirt.

The last point is the purpose of this patch.  It fixes a leak of the
high 16 bits of the kernel stack address on 32-bit KVM paravirt
guests.  Fixes CVE-2014-8134.

Users have no business installing custom code segments into the
GDT, and segments that are not present but are otherwise valid
are a historical source of interesting attacks.

For completeness, block attempts to set the L bit.  (Prior to
this patch, the L bit would have been silently dropped.)

This is an ABI break.  I've checked glibc, musl, and Wine, and
none of them look like they'll have any trouble.

Note to stable maintainers: this is a hardening patch that fixes
no known bugs.  Given the possibility of ABI issues, this
probably shouldn't be backported quickly.

Dave Hansen c97aaf6830 x86: Require exact match for 'noxsave' command line option

We have some very similarly named command-line options:

arch/x86/kernel/cpu/common.c:__setup("noxsave", x86_xsave_setup);
arch/x86/kernel/cpu/common.c:__setup("noxsaveopt", x86_xsaveopt_setup);
arch/x86/kernel/cpu/common.c:__setup("noxsaves", x86_xsaves_setup);

__setup() is designed to match options that take arguments, like
"foo=bar" where you would have:

	__setup("foo", x86_foo_func...);

The problem is that "noxsave" actually _matches_ "noxsaves" in
the same way that "foo" matches "foo=bar".  If you boot an old
kernel that does not know about "noxsaves" with "noxsaves" on the
command line, it will interpret the argument as "noxsave", which
is not what you want at all.

This makes the "noxsave" handler only return success when it finds
an *exact* match.

Andy Lutomirski 69c5d32d83 x86_64, traps: Rework bad_iret

It's possible for iretq to userspace to fail.  This can happen because
of a bad CS, SS, or RIP.

Historically, we've handled it by fixing up an exception from iretq to
land at bad_iret, which pretends that the failed iret frame was really
the hardware part of #GP(0) from userspace.  To make this work, there's
an extra fixup to fudge the gs base into a usable state.

This is suboptimal because it loses the original exception.  It's also
buggy because there's no guarantee that we were on the kernel stack to
begin with.  For example, if the failing iret happened on return from an
NMI, then we'll end up executing general_protection on the NMI stack.
This is bad for several reasons, the most immediate of which is that
general_protection, as a non-paranoid idtentry, will try to deliver
signals and/or schedule from the wrong stack.

This patch throws out bad_iret entirely.  As a replacement, it augments
the existing swapgs fudge into a full-blown iret fixup, mostly written
in C.  It's should be clearer and more correct.

Andy Lutomirski fd5683d05e x86_64, traps: Stop using IST for #SS

On a 32-bit kernel, this has no effect, since there are no IST stacks.

On a 64-bit kernel, #SS can only happen in user code, on a failed iret
to user space, a canonical violation on access via RSP or RBP, or a
genuine stack segment violation in 32-bit kernel code.  The first two
cases don't need IST, and the latter two cases are unlikely fatal bugs,
and promoting them to double faults would be fine.

This fixes a bug in which the espfix64 code mishandles a stack segment
violation.

This saves 4k of memory per CPU and a tiny bit of code.

Andy Lutomirski ea21cb1f6b x86_64, traps: Fix the espfix64 #DF fixup and rewrite it in C

There's nothing special enough about the espfix64 double fault fixup to
justify writing it in assembly.  Move it to C.

This also fixes a bug: if the double fault came from an IST stack, the
old asm code would return to a partially uninitialized stack frame.

Vince Weaver f3c34e7e7a perf/x86/intel: Use proper dTLB-load-misses event on IvyBridge

But I never saw a patch come out of it.

On IvyBridge we share the SandyBridge cache event tables, but the
dTLB-load-miss event is not compatible.  Patch it up after
the fact to the proper DTLB_LOAD_MISSES.DEMAND_LD_MISS_CAUSES_A_WALK

Andy Lutomirski 89b27dc7ce x86, x32, audit: Fix x32's AUDIT_ARCH wrt audit

is_compat_task() is the wrong check for audit arch; the check should
be is_ia32_task(): x32 syscalls should be AUDIT_ARCH_X86_64, not
AUDIT_ARCH_I386.

CONFIG_AUDITSYSCALL is currently incompatible with x32, so this has
no visible effect.
