In case a platform only defaults a "default" set of pins, but not a
"sleep" set of pins, and this particular platform suspends and resumes
in a way that the pin states are not preserved by the hardware, when we
resume, we would call pinctrl_single_resume() -> pinctrl_force_default()
-> pinctrl_select_state() and the first thing we do is check that the
pins state is the same as before, and do nothing.
In order to fix this, decouple the actual state change from
pinctrl_select_state() and move it pinctrl_commit_state(), while keeping
the p->state == state check in pinctrl_select_state() not to change the
caller assumptions. pinctrl_force_sleep() and pinctrl_force_default()
are updated to bypass the state check by calling pinctrl_commit_state().

The forced pin control states are currently only used in some pin
controller drivers that grab their own reference to their own pins.
This is equal to the pin control hogs: pins taken by pin control
devices since there are no corresponding device in the Linux device
hierarchy, such as memory controller lines or unused GPIO lines,
or GPIO lines that are used orthogonally from the GPIO subsystem
but pincontrol-wise managed as hogs (non-strict mode, allowing
simultaneous use by GPIO and pin control). For this case forcing
the state from the drivers' suspend()/resume() callbacks makes
sense and should semantically match the name of the function.

Always stating PIN_CONFIG_BIAS_DISABLE is supported gives untrue output
when examining /sys/kernel/debug/pinctrl/e6060000.pfc/pinconf-pins if
the operation get_bias() is implemented but the pin is not handled by
the get_bias() implementation. In that case the output will state that
"input bias disabled" indicating that this pin has bias control
support.
Make support for PIN_CONFIG_BIAS_DISABLE depend on that the pin either
supports SH_PFC_PIN_CFG_PULL_UP or SH_PFC_PIN_CFG_PULL_DOWN. This also
solves the issue where SoC specific implementations print error messages
if their particular implementation of {set,get}_bias() is called with a
pin it does not know about.

VDD cpu_pd functions, which might indicate they are not working and/or

After updating to a more recent version of the Armada XP datasheet, we
realized that some of the pins documented as having a NAND-related
functionality in fact did not have such functionality. This commit

Way back, when the world was a simpler place and there was no war, no
evil, and no kernel bugs, there was just a single pinctrl lock. That
was how the world was when (57291ce pinctrl: core device tree mapping
table parsing support) was written. In that case, there were
instances where the pinctrl mutex was already held when
pinctrl_register_map() was called, hence a "locked" parameter was
passed to the function to indicate that the mutex was already locked
(so we shouldn't lock it again).
A few years ago in (42fed7b pinctrl: move subsystem mutex to
pinctrl_dev struct), we switched to a separate pinctrl_maps_mutex.
...but (oops) we forgot to re-think about the whole "locked" parameter
for pinctrl_register_map(). Basically the "locked" parameter appears
to still refer to whether the bigger pinctrl_dev mutex is locked, but
we're using it to skip locks of our (now separate) pinctrl_maps_mutex.
That's kind of a bad thing(TM). Probably nobody noticed because most
of the calls to pinctrl_register_map happen at boot time and we've got
synchronous device probing. ...and even cases where we're
asynchronous don't end up actually hitting the race too often. ...but
after banging my head against the wall for a bug that reproduced 1 out
of 1000 reboots and lots of looking through kgdb, I finally noticed
this.
Anyway, we can now safely remove the "locked" parameter and go back to
a war-free, evil-free, and kernel-bug-free world.

Currently when pinctrl mapping table entries are freed, they are always
checked against PIN_MAP_TYPE_MUX_GROUP type. The bug in existing logic
causes only first entry in the mapping table to be checked against
PIN_MAP_TYPE_MUX_GROUP type. However at time of allocation, entry
corresponding to PIN_MAP_TYPE_MUX_GROUP is allocated as the second
entry. Thus the PIN_MAP_TYPE_MUX_GROUP allocation is never freed,
leading to memory leak.

8909 has both sdc and nand variants. Both these
interfaces would be supported by TLMM configurable
pins. Add EBI pintype needed for nand support.

Some options currently take arguments in unspecified driver-specific units.
As pointed out by Stephen Warren, driver specific values should not be part
of generic devicetree bindings describing the hardware.
Therefore remove the critical bindings again, before they become part of
an official release.

Currently the debounce time pinconfig option uses an unspecified
"time units" unit. As pinconfig options should use SI units and a
real unit is also necessary for generic dt bindings, change it
to usec. Currently no driver is using the generic pinconfig option
for this, so the unit change is safe to do.

The tlmm v3 and v4 driver coexist even though they contain almost
identical logic due to the few SoC specific hardware variations.
These SoC specific information data can be chosen and given at driver
probe time rather than hard coded witin separate drivers.
Refactor tlmm driver to get rid of these unncecssary duplications.
This refactoring prevents from possibility of adding another version of
new duplicated drivers.

If legacy tlmm irq chip is being used, pinctrl irq domain would not be
allocated so enabled irq bits won't represent irqs actually enabled.
Currently this results in improper irqs enable and disable during
suspend/resume. Check if own irqdomain is initialized.

SDC1 also requires the support of configuring RCLK pin.
This requires the adjustment of SDC2 pins offset too.
Add array bounds check before accessing pin config.

We have few fedora bug reports about list corruption on pinctrl,
for example:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1051918
Most likely corruption happen due lack of protection of pinctrl_list
when adding new nodes to it. Patch corrects that.

Due to an assumption in the VT8500 pinctrl driver, the value passed
from devicetree for 'wm,pull' was not explicitly translated before
being passed to pinconf.
Since v3.10, changes to 'enum pin_config_param', PIN_CONFIG_BIAS_PULL_(UP/DOWN)
no longer map 1-to-1 with the expected values in devicetree.
This patch adds a small translation between the devicetree values (0..2)
and the enum pin_config_param equivalent values.
