It also contains changes to allow forbidden warnings introduced in the commit 'core, nfqueue, openvswitch: Orphan frags in skb_zerocopy and handle errors'. Once upstream has corrected these warnings, the changes to scripts/gcc-wrapper.py, in this commit, can be reverted. * commit 'v3.10.67' (915 commits) Linux 3.10.67 md/raid5: fetch_block must fetch all the blocks handle_stripe_dirtying wants. ext4: fix warning in ext4_da_update_reserve_space() quota: provide interface for readding allocated space into reserved space crypto: add missing crypto module aliases crypto: include crypto- module prefix in template crypto: prefix module autoloading with "crypto-" drbd: merge_bvec_fn: properly remap bvm->bi_bdev Revert "swiotlb-xen: pass dev_addr to swiotlb_tbl_unmap_single" ipvs: uninitialized data with IP_VS_IPV6 KEYS: close race between key lookup and freeing sata_dwc_460ex: fix resource leak on error path x86/asm/traps: Disable tracing and kprobes in fixup_bad_iret and sync_regs x86, tls: Interpret an all-zero struct user_desc as "no segment" x86, tls, ldt: Stop checking lm in LDT_empty x86/tsc: Change Fast TSC calibration failed from error to info x86, hyperv: Mark the Hyper-V clocksource as being continuous clocksource: exynos_mct: Fix bitmask regression for exynos4_mct_write can: dev: fix crtlmode_supported check bus: mvebu-mbus: fix support of MBus window 13 ARM: dts: imx25: Fix PWM "per" clocks time: adjtimex: Validate the ADJ_FREQUENCY values time: settimeofday: Validate the values of tv from user dm cache: share cache-metadata object across inactive and active DM tables ipr: wait for aborted command responses drm/i915: Fix mutex->owner inspection race under DEBUG_MUTEXES scripts/recordmcount.pl: There is no -m32 gcc option on Super-H anymore ALSA: usb-audio: Add mic volume fix quirk for Logitech Webcam C210 libata: prevent HSM state change race between ISR and PIO pinctrl: Fix two deadlocks gpio: sysfs: fix gpio device-attribute leak gpio: sysfs: fix gpio-chip device-attribute leak Linux 3.10.66 s390/3215: fix tty output containing tabs s390/3215: fix hanging console issue fsnotify: next_i is freed during fsnotify_unmount_inodes. netfilter: ipset: small potential read beyond the end of buffer mmc: sdhci: Fix sleep in atomic after inserting SD card LOCKD: Fix a race when initialising nlmsvc_timeout x86, um: actually mark system call tables readonly um: Skip futex_atomic_cmpxchg_inatomic() test decompress_bunzip2: off by one in get_next_block() ARM: shmobile: sh73a0 legacy: Set .control_parent for all irqpin instances ARM: omap5/dra7xx: Fix frequency typos ARM: clk-imx6q: fix video divider for rev T0 1.0 ARM: imx6q: drop unnecessary semicolon ARM: dts: imx25: Fix the SPI1 clocks Input: I8042 - add Acer Aspire 7738 to the nomux list Input: i8042 - reset keyboard to fix Elantech touchpad detection can: kvaser_usb: Don't send a RESET_CHIP for non-existing channels can: kvaser_usb: Reset all URB tx contexts upon channel close can: kvaser_usb: Don't free packets when tight on URBs USB: keyspan: fix null-deref at probe USB: cp210x: add IDs for CEL USB sticks and MeshWorks devices USB: cp210x: fix ID for production CEL MeshConnect USB Stick usb: dwc3: gadget: Stop TRB preparation after limit is reached usb: dwc3: gadget: Fix TRB preparation during SG OHCI: add a quirk for ULi M5237 blocking on reset gpiolib: of: Correct error handling in of_get_named_gpiod_flags NFSv4.1: Fix client id trunking on Linux ftrace/jprobes/x86: Fix conflict between jprobes and function graph tracing vfio-pci: Fix the check on pci device type in vfio_pci_probe() uvcvideo: Fix destruction order in uvc_delete() smiapp: Take mutex during PLL update in sensor initialisation af9005: fix kernel panic on init if compiled without IR smiapp-pll: Correct clock debug prints video/logo: prevent use of logos after they have been freed storvsc: ring buffer failures may result in I/O freeze iscsi-target: Fail connection on short sendmsg writes hp_accel: Add support for HP ZBook 15 cfg80211: Fix 160 MHz channels with 80+80 and 160 MHz drivers ARC: [nsimosci] move peripherals to match model to FPGA drm/i915: Force the CS stall for invalidate flushes drm/i915: Invalidate media caches on gen7 drm/radeon: properly filter DP1.2 4k modes on non-DP1.2 hw drm/radeon: check the right ring in radeon_evict_flags() drm/vmwgfx: Fix fence event code enic: fix rx skb checksum alx: fix alx_poll() tcp: Do not apply TSO segment limit to non-TSO packets tg3: tg3_disable_ints using uninitialized mailbox value to disable interrupts netlink: Don't reorder loads/stores before marking mmap netlink frame as available netlink: Always copy on mmap TX. perf session: Do not fail on processing out of order event
commit f61ff6c06dc8f32c7036013ad802c899ec590607 upstream.
Linus reported perf report command being interrupted due to processing
of 'out of order' event, with following error:
Timestamp below last timeslice flush
0x5733a8 [0x28]: failed to process type: 3
I could reproduce the issue and in my case it was caused by one CPU
(mmap) being behind during record and userspace mmap reader seeing the
data after other CPUs data were already stored.
This is expected under some circumstances because we need to limit the
number of events that we queue for reordering when we receive a
PERF_RECORD_FINISHED_ROUND or when we force flush due to memory
pressure.

- adjust context
- commit f61ff6c06d struct events_stats was defined in tools/perf/util/event.h
while 3.10 stable defined in tools/perf/util/hist.h.
- 3.10 stable there is no pr_oe_time() which used for debug.
- After the above adjustments, becomes same to the original patch:

userns: Unbreak the unprivileged remount tests
commit db86da7cb76f797a1a8b445166a15cb922c6ff85 upstream. A security fix in caused the way the unprivileged remount tests were using user namespaces to break. mnt: Update unprivileged remount test
commit 4a44a19b470a886997d6647a77bb3e38dcbfa8c5 upstream. - MNT_NODEV should be irrelevant except when reading back mount flags, no longer specify MNT_NODEV on remount. - Test MNT_NODEV on devpts where it is meaningful even for unprivileged mounts. - Add a test to verify that remount of a prexisting mount with the same flags is allowed and does not change those flags. - Cleanup up the definitions of MS_REC, MS_RELATIME, MS_STRICTATIME that are used when the code is built in an environment without them. - Correct the test error messages when tests fail. There were not 5 tests that tested MS_RELATIME. Signed-off-by: Eric W. Biederman <ebiederm@xmission.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org> |

perf kmem: Make it work again on non NUMA machines
commit 4921e320244e099bdf237fd10428594ce5f5b87d upstream. The commit '2814eb0 perf kmem: Remove die() calls' disabled 'perf kmem' command for machines without numa support. It made the command fail if '/sys/devices/system/node' dir wasn't found. Skipping the numa based initialization in case the directory is not found and continue execution. mnt: Add tests for unprivileged remount cases that have found to be faulty
commit db181ce011e3c033328608299cd6fac06ea50130 upstream. Kenton Varda <kenton@sandstorm.io> discovered that by remounting a read-only bind mount read-only in a user namespace the MNT_LOCK_READONLY bit would be cleared, allowing an unprivileged user to the remount a read-only mount read-write. Upon review of the code in remount it was discovered that the code allowed nosuid, noexec, and nodev to be cleared. It was also discovered that the code was allowing the per mount atime flags to be changed. The first naive patch to fix these issues contained the flaw that using default atime settings when remounting a filesystem could be disallowed. To avoid this problems in the future add tests to ensure unprivileged remounts are succeeding and failing at the appropriate times. Acked-by: Serge E. turbostat: Use GCC's CPUID functions to support PIC
commit 2b92865e648ce04a39fda4f903784a5d01ecb0dc upstream. turbostat uses inline assembly to call cpuid. On 32-bit x86, on systems that have certain security features enabled by default that make -fPIC the default, this causes a build error: turbostat.c: In function ‘check_cpuid’: turbostat.c:1906:2: error: PIC register clobbered by ‘ebx’ in ‘asm’ asm("cpuid" : "=a" (fms), "=c" (ecx), "=d" (edx) : "a" (1) : "ebx"); ^ GCC provides a header cpuid.h, containing a __get_cpuid function that works with both PIC and non-PIC. (On PIC, it saves and restores ebx around the cpuid instruction.) Use that instead. turbostat: Don't put unprocessed uapi headers in the include path
commit b731f3119de57144e16c19fd593b8daeb637843e upstream. turbostat's Makefile puts arch/x86/include/uapi/ in the include path, so that it can include <asm/msr.h> from it. It isn't in general safe to include even uapi headers directly from the kernel tree without processing them through scripts/headers_install.sh, but asm/msr.h happens to work. However, that include path can break with some versions of system headers, by overriding some system headers with the unprocessed versions directly from the kernel source. For instance: In file included from /build/x86-generic/usr/include/bits/sigcontext.h:28:0, from /build/x86-generic/usr/include/signal.h:339, from /build/x86-generic/usr/include/sys/wait.h:31, from turbostat.c:27: ../../../../arch/x86/include/uapi/asm/sigcontext.h:4:28: fatal error: linux/compiler.h: No such file or directory This occurs because the system bits/sigcontext.h on that build system includes <asm/sigcontext.h>, and asm/sigcontext.h in the kernel source includes <linux/compiler.h>, which scripts/headers_install.sh would have filtered out. Since turbostat really only wants a single header, just include that one header rather than putting an entire directory of kernel headers on the include path. In the process, switch from msr.h to msr-index.h, since turbostat just wants the MSR numbers. cpupower: Fix segfault due to incorrect getopt_long arugments
commit f447ef4a56dee4b68a91460bcdfe06b5011085f2 upstream. If a user calls 'cpupower set --perf-bias 15', the process will end with a SIGSEGV in libc because cpupower-set passes a NULL optarg to the atoi call. This is because the getopt_long structure currently has all of the options as having an optional_argument when they really have a required argument. We change the structure to use required_argument to match the short options and it resolves the issue. Pull networking updates from David Miller: "Highlights (1721 non-merge commits, this has to be a record of some sort): 1) Add 'random' mode to team driver, from Jiri Pirko and Eric Dumazet. 2) Make it so that any driver that supports configuration of multiple MAC addresses can provide the forwarding database add and del calls by providing a default implementation and hooking that up if the driver doesn't have an explicit set of handlers. From Vlad Yasevich. 3) Support GSO segmentation over tunnels and other encapsulating devices such as VXLAN, from Pravin B Shelar. 4) Support L2 GRE tunnels in the flow dissector, from Michael Dalton. 5) Implement Tail Loss Probe (TLP) detection in TCP, from Nandita Dukkipati. 6) In the PHY layer, allow supporting wake-on-lan in situations where the PHY registers have to be written for it to be configured. Use it to support wake-on-lan in mv643xx_eth. From Michael Stapelberg. 7) Significantly improve firewire IPV6 support, from YOSHIFUJI Hideaki. 8) Allow multiple packets to be sent in a single transmission using network coding in batman-adv, from Martin Hundebøll. 9) Add support for T5 cxgb4 chips, from Santosh Rastapur. 10) Generalize the VXLAN forwarding tables so that there is more flexibility in configurating various aspects of the endpoints. From David Stevens. 11) Support RSS and TSO in hardware over GRE tunnels in bxn2x driver, from Dmitry Kravkov. 12) Zero copy support in nfnelink_queue, from Eric Dumazet and Pablo Neira Ayuso. 13) Start adding networking selftests. 14) In situations of overload on the same AF_PACKET fanout socket, or per-cpu packet receive queue, minimize drop by distributing the load to other cpus/fanouts. From Willem de Bruijn and Eric Dumazet. 15) Add support for new payload offset BPF instruction, from Daniel Borkmann. 16) Convert several drivers over to mdoule_platform_driver(), from Sachin Kamat. 17) Provide a minimal BPF JIT image disassembler userspace tool, from Daniel Borkmann. 18) Rewrite F-RTO implementation in TCP to match the final specification of it in RFC4138 and RFC5682. From Yuchung Cheng. 19) Provide netlink socket diag of netlink sockets ("Yo dawg, I hear you like netlink, so I implemented netlink dumping of netlink sockets.") From Andrey Vagin. 20) Remove ugly passing of rtnetlink attributes into rtnl_doit functions, from Thomas Graf. 21) Allow userspace to be able to see if a configuration change occurs in the middle of an address or device list dump, from Nicolas Dichtel. 22) Support RFC3168 ECN protection for ipv6 fragments, from Hannes Frederic Sowa. 23) Increase accuracy of packet length used by packet scheduler, from Jason Wang. 24) Beginning set of changes to make ipv4/ipv6 fragment handling more scalable and less susceptible to overload and locking contention, from Jesper Dangaard Brouer. 25) Get rid of using non-type-safe NLMSG_* macros and use nlmsg_*() instead. From Hong Zhiguo. 26) Optimize route usage in IPVS by avoiding reference counting where possible, from Julian Anastasov. 27) Convert IPVS schedulers to RCU, also from Julian Anastasov. 28) Support cpu fanouts in xt_NFQUEUE netfilter target, from Holger Eitzenberger. 29) Network namespace support for nf_log, ebt_log, xt_LOG, ipt_ULOG, nfnetlink_log, and nfnetlink_queue. selftests: psock_tpacket: fix status check
Testing like this for TP_STATUS_AVAILABLE clearly is a stupid bug since it always returns true. Fix this by only checking for flags where the kernel owns the packet and negate this result, since we also could run into the non-zero status TP_STATUS_WRONG_FORMAT and need to reclaim frames. ktest: Reset grub menu cache with different machines
Different tests may use a different machine. In such cases, we need to try to get the current grub menu index. If the same grub menu is used for two different machines, it may not be at the same index on the second machine. A search for the index must be performed again.
