Marco Angaroni 049c18dabc ipvs: correct initial offset of Call-ID header search in SIP persistence engine
commit 7617a24f83b5d67f4dab1844956be1cebc44aec8 upstream.

The IPVS SIP persistence engine is not able to parse the SIP header
"Call-ID" when such header is inserted in the first positions of
the SIP message.

When IPVS is configured with "--pe sip" option, like for example:
ipvsadm -A -u 1.2.3.4:5060 -s rr --pe sip -p 120 -o
some particular messages (see below for details) do not create entries
in the connection template table, which can be listed with:
ipvsadm -Lcn --persistent-conn

Problematic SIP messages are SIP responses having "Call-ID" header
positioned just after message first line:
SIP/2.0 200 OK
[Call-ID header here]
[rest of the headers]

When "Call-ID" header is positioned down (after a few other headers)
it is correctly recognized.

This is due to the data offset used in get_callid function call inside
ip_vs_pe_sip.c file: since dptr already points to the start of the
SIP message, the value of dataoff should be initially 0.
Otherwise the header is searched starting from some bytes after the
first character of the SIP message.

Andrey Vagin f79d019c4b netfilter: nf_conntrack: fix RCU race in nf_conntrack_find_get
commit c6825c0976fa7893692e0e43b09740b419b23c09 upstream.

Lets look at destroy_conntrack:

hlist_nulls_del_rcu(&ct->tuplehash[IP_CT_DIR_ORIGINAL].hnnode);
...
nf_conntrack_free(ct)
	kmem_cache_free(net->ct.nf_conntrack_cachep, ct);

net->ct.nf_conntrack_cachep is created with SLAB_DESTROY_BY_RCU.

The hash is protected by rcu, so readers look up conntracks without
locks.
A conntrack is removed from the hash, but in this moment a few readers
still can use the conntrack. Then this conntrack is released and another
thread creates conntrack with the same address and the equal tuple.
After this a reader starts to validate the conntrack:
* It's not dying, because a new conntrack was created
* nf_ct_tuple_equal() returns true.

But this conntrack is not initialized yet, so it can not be used by two
threads concurrently. In this case BUG_ON may be triggered from
nf_nat_setup_info().

Florian Westphal suggested to check the confirm bit too. I think it's
right.

task 1			task 2			task 3
			nf_conntrack_find_get
			 ____nf_conntrack_find
destroy_conntrack
 hlist_nulls_del_rcu
 nf_conntrack_free
 kmem_cache_free
						__nf_conntrack_alloc
						 kmem_cache_alloc
						 memset(&ct->tuplehash[IP_CT_DIR_MAX],
			 if (nf_ct_is_dying(ct))
			 if (!nf_ct_tuple_equal()

I'm not sure, that I have ever seen this race condition in a real life.
Currently we are investigating a bug, which is reproduced on a few nodes.
In our case one conntrack is initialized from a few tasks concurrently,
we don't have any other explanation for this.

Harout Hedeshian 0dafe9e7da netfilter: xt_socket: add XT_SOCKET_RESTORESKMARK flag
xt_socket is useful for matching sockets with IP_TRANSPARENT and
taking some action on the matching packets. However, it lacks the
ability to match only a small subset of transparent sockets.

Suppose there are 2 applications, each with its own set of transparent
sockets. The first application wants all matching packets dropped,
while the second application wants them forwarded somewhere else.

Add the ability to retore the skb->mark from the sk_mark. The mark
is only restored if a matching socket is found and the transparent /
nowildcard conditions are satisfied.

Now the 2 hypothetical applications can differentiate their sockets
based on a mark value set with SO_MARK.

iptables -t mangle -I PREROUTING -m socket --transparent \
                                           --restore-skmark -j action
iptables -t mangle -A action -m mark --mark 10 -j action2
iptables -t mangle -A action -m mark --mark 11 -j action3

Harout Hedeshian 0d0a39cad4 netfilter: xt_socket: fix broken v0 support
commit 681f130f39e10 ("netfilter: xt_socket: add XT_SOCKET_NOWILDCARD
flag") added a potential NULL dereference if an old iptables package
uses v0 of the match.

Fix this by removing the test on @info in fast path.

IPv6 can remove the test as well, as it uses v1 or v2.

Eric Dumazet dd147226b9 netfilter: xt_socket: add XT_SOCKET_NOWILDCARD flag
xt_socket module can be a nice replacement to conntrack module
in some cases (SYN filtering for example)

But it lacks the ability to match the 3rd packet of TCP
handshake (ACK coming from the client).

Add a XT_SOCKET_NOWILDCARD flag to disable the wildcard mechanism.

The wildcard is the legacy socket match behavior, that ignores
LISTEN sockets bound to INADDR_ANY (or ipv6 equivalent)

iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --syn -j SYN_CHAIN
iptables -I INPUT -m socket --nowildcard -j ACCEPT

Julian Anastasov 212c45ac20 ipvs: do not use random local source address for tunnels
commit 4754957f04f5f368792a0eb7dab0ae89fb93dcfd upstream.

Michael Vallaly reports about wrong source address used
in rare cases for tunneled traffic. Looks like
__ip_vs_get_out_rt in 3.10+ is providing uninitialized
dest_dst->dst_saddr.ip because ip_vs_dest_dst_alloc uses
kmalloc. While we retry after seeing EINVAL from routing
for data that does not look like valid local address, it
still succeeded when this memory was previously used from
other dests and with different local addresses. As result,
we can use valid local address that is not suitable for
our real server.

Fix it by providing 0.0.0.0 every time our cache is refreshed.
By this way we will get preferred source address from routing.

Joe Stringer 6709d8bdf7 netfilter: nf_conntrack: Support expectations in different zones
commit 4b31814d20cbe5cd4ccf18089751e77a04afe4f2 upstream.

When zones were originally introduced, the expectation functions were
all extended to perform lookup using the zone. However, insertion was
not modified to check the zone. This means that two expectations which
are intended to apply for different connections that have the same tuple
but exist in different zones cannot both be tracked.

Ian Wilson 7c6300bb49 netfilter: Zero the tuple in nfnl_cthelper_parse_tuple()
commit 78146572b9cd20452da47951812f35b1ad4906be upstream.

nfnl_cthelper_parse_tuple() is called from nfnl_cthelper_new(),
nfnl_cthelper_get() and nfnl_cthelper_del(). In each case they pass
a pointer to an nf_conntrack_tuple data structure local variable:

    struct nf_conntrack_tuple tuple;
    ...
    ret = nfnl_cthelper_parse_tuple(&tuple, tb[NFCTH_TUPLE]);

The problem is that this local variable is not initialized, and
nfnl_cthelper_parse_tuple() only initializes two fields: src.l3num and
dst.protonum. This leaves all other fields with undefined values
based on whatever is on the stack:

    tuple->src.l3num = ntohs(nla_get_be16(tb[NFCTH_TUPLE_L3PROTONUM]));
    tuple->dst.protonum = nla_get_u8(tb[NFCTH_TUPLE_L4PROTONUM]);

The symptom observed was that when the rpc and tns helpers were added
then traffic to port 1536 was being sent to user-space.

Florian Westphal 752b388c92 netfilter: conntrack: disable generic tracking for known protocols
commit db29a9508a9246e77087c5531e45b2c88ec6988b upstream.

Given following iptables ruleset:

-P FORWARD DROP
-A FORWARD -m sctp --dport 9 -j ACCEPT
-A FORWARD -p tcp --dport 80 -j ACCEPT
-A FORWARD -p tcp -m conntrack -m state ESTABLISHED,RELATED -j ACCEPT

One would assume that this allows SCTP on port 9 and TCP on port 80.
Unfortunately, if the SCTP conntrack module is not loaded, this allows
*all* SCTP communication, to pass though, i.e. -p sctp -j ACCEPT,
which we think is a security issue.

This is because on the first SCTP packet on port 9, we create a dummy
"generic l4" conntrack entry without any port information (since
conntrack doesn't know how to extract this information).

All subsequent packets that are unknown will then be in established
state since they will fallback to proto_generic and will match the
'generic' entry.

Our originally proposed version [1] completely disabled generic protocol
tracking, but Jozsef suggests to not track protocols for which a more
suitable helper is available, hence we now mitigate the issue for in
tree known ct protocol helpers only, so that at least NAT and direction
information will still be preserved for others.

Merge commit 'v3.10.73' into msm-3.10

This merge brings us up to date with upstream kernel.org tag v3.10.73.
As part of the conflict resolution, changes introduced by commit 72684eae7
("arm64: Fix up /proc/cpuinfo") have been intentionally dropped, as they
conflict with Android changes msm-3.10 kernel to solve the problems
in a different way. Since userspace readers of this file may depend on
the existing msm-3.10 implementation, it's left as-is for now. The
commit may later be introduced if it is found to not impact userspaces
paired with this kernel.

Merge commit 'v3.10.67' into msm-3.10

This merge brings us up to date with upstream kernel.org tag v3.10.67.
It also contains changes to allow forbidden warnings introduced in
the commit 'core, nfqueue, openvswitch: Orphan frags in skb_zerocopy
and handle errors'. Once upstream has corrected these warnings, the
changes to scripts/gcc-wrapper.py, in this commit, can be reverted.

Jiri Slaby d212dc60a1 core, nfqueue, openvswitch: fix compilation warning
Stable commit "core, nfqueue, openvswitch: Orphan frags in
skb_zerocopy and handle errors", upstream commit
36d5fe6a000790f56039afe26834265db0a3ad4c, was not correctly backported
and missed to change a const 'from' parameter to non-const. This
results in a new batch of warnings:

net/netfilter/nfnetlink_queue_core.c: In function ‘nfqnl_zcopy’:
net/netfilter/nfnetlink_queue_core.c:272:2: warning: passing argument 1 of ‘skb_orphan_frags’ discards ‘const’ qualifier from pointer target type [enabled by default]

 extern void skb_tx_error(struct sk_buff *skb);

Remove const from the 'from' parameter, the same as in the upstream
commit.

As far as I can see, this leaked into 3.10, 3.12, and 3.13 already.

Julian Anastasov 96b077b4a5 ipvs: rerouting to local clients is not needed anymore
commit 579eb62ac35845686a7c4286c0a820b4eb1f96aa upstream.

commit f5a41847ac ("ipvs: move ip_route_me_harder for ICMP")
from 2.6.37 introduced ip_route_me_harder() call for responses to
local clients, so that we can provide valid rt_src after SNAT.
It was used by TCP to provide valid daddr for ip_send_reply().
After commit 0a5ebb8000 ("ipv4: Pass explicit daddr arg to
ip_send_reply()." from 3.0 this rerouting is not needed anymore
and should be avoided, especially in LOCAL_IN.

Julian Anastasov 2fd8357353 ipvs: add missing ip_vs_pe_put in sync code
commit 528c943f3bb919aef75ab2fff4f00176f09a4019 upstream.

ip_vs_conn_fill_param_sync() gets in param.pe a module
reference for persistence engine from __ip_vs_pe_getbyname()
but forgets to put it. Problem occurs in backup for
sync protocol v1 (2.6.39).

Also, pe_data usually comes in sync messages for
connection templates and ip_vs_conn_new() copies
the pointer only in this case. Make sure pe_data
is not leaked if it comes unexpectedly for normal
connections. Leak can happen only if bogus messages
are sent to backup server.

commit 945b2b2d259d1a4364a2799e80e8ff32f8c6ee6f upstream.

Quoting Samu Kallio:

 Basically what's happening is, during netns cleanup,
 nf_nat_net_exit gets called before ipv4_net_exit. As I understand
 it, nf_nat_net_exit is supposed to kill any conntrack entries which
 have NAT context (through nf_ct_iterate_cleanup), but for some
 reason this doesn't happen (perhaps something else is still holding
 refs to those entries?).

 When ipv4_net_exit is called, conntrack entries (including those
 with NAT context) are cleaned up, but the
 nat_bysource hashtable is long gone - freed in nf_nat_net_exit. The
 bug happens when attempting to free a conntrack entry whose NAT hash
 'prev' field points to a slot in the freed hash table (head for that
 bin).

We ignore conntracks with null nat bindings. But this is wrong,
as these are in bysource hash table as well.

Restore nat-cleaning for the netns-is-being-removed case.

Houcheng Lin 0bf7a5e16a netfilter: nf_log: release skbuff on nlmsg put failure
commit b51d3fa364885a2c1e1668f88776c67c95291820 upstream.

The kernel should reserve enough room in the skb so that the DONE
message can always be appended. However, in case of e.g. new attribute
erronously not being size-accounted for, __nfulnl_send() will still
try to put next nlmsg into this full skbuf, causing the skb to be stuck
forever and blocking delivery of further messages.

Fix issue by releasing skb immediately after nlmsg_put error and
WARN() so we can track down the cause of such size mismatch.

We currently neither account for the nlattr size, nor do we consider

JP Abgrall dd5b1781e9 nf: xt_qtaguid: fix handling for cases where tunnels are used.
* fix skb->dev vs par->in/out
When there is some forwarding going on, it introduces extra state
around devs associated with xt_action_param->in/out and sk_buff->dev.
E.g.
   par->in and par->out are both set, or
   skb->dev and par->out are both set (and different)
This would lead qtaguid to make the wrong assumption about the
direction and update the wrong device stats.
Now we rely more on par->in/out.

* Fix handling when qtaguid is used as "owner"
When qtaguid is used as an owner module, and sk_socket->file is
not there (happens when tunnels are involved), it would
incorrectly do a tag stats update.

* Correct debug messages.

commit 6547a221871f139cc56328a38105d47c14874cbe upstream.

When loose tracking is enabled (default), non-syn packets cause
creation of new conntracks in established state with default timeout for
established state (5 days). This causes the table to fill up with UNREPLIED
when the 'new ack' packet happened to be the last-ack of a previous,
already timed-out connection.

Consider:

A 192.168.x.52792 > 10.184.y.80: F, 426:426(0) ack 9237 win 255
B 10.184.y.80 > 192.168.x.52792: ., ack 427 win 123
<61 second pause>
C 10.184.y.80 > 192.168.x.52792: F, 9237:9237(0) ack 427 win 123
D 192.168.x.52792 > 10.184.y.80: ., ack 9238 win 255

B moves conntrack to CLOSE_WAIT and will kill it after 60 second timeout,
C is ignored (FIN set), but last packet (D) causes new ct with 5-days timeout.

Use UNACK timeout (5 minutes) instead to get rid of these entries sooner
when in ESTABLISHED state without having seen traffic in both directions.

Eric Dumazet ff1f69a89a inetpeer: get rid of ip_id_count
[ Upstream commit 73f156a6e8c1074ac6327e0abd1169e95eb66463 ]

Ideally, we would need to generate IP ID using a per destination IP
generator.

linux kernels used inet_peer cache for this purpose, but this had a huge
cost on servers disabling MTU discovery.

1) each inet_peer struct consumes 192 bytes

2) inetpeer cache uses a binary tree of inet_peer structs,
   with a nominal size of ~66000 elements under load.

3) lookups in this tree are hitting a lot of cache lines, as tree depth
   is about 20.

4) If server deals with many tcp flows, we have a high probability of
   not finding the inet_peer, allocating a fresh one, inserting it in
   the tree with same initial ip_id_count, (cf secure_ip_id())

5) We garbage collect inet_peer aggressively.

IP ID generation do not have to be 'perfect'

Goal is trying to avoid duplicates in a short period of time,
so that reassembly units have a chance to complete reassembly of
fragments belonging to one message before receiving other fragments
with a recycled ID.

We simply use an array of generators, and a Jenkin hash using the dst IP
as a key.

ipv6_select_ident() is put back into net/ipv6/ip6_output.c where it
belongs (it is only used from this file)

secure_ip_id() and secure_ipv6_id() no longer are needed.

Rename ip_select_ident_more() to ip_select_ident_segs() to avoid
unnecessary decrement/increment of the number of segments.

Bhavya Sokke Mallikarjunappa 69e2af9b6e netfilter: xtables: hardidletimer target implementation
This patch implements a hardidletimer Xtables target that can be used to
identify when interfaces have been idle for a certain period of time.

Timers are identified by labels and are created when a rule is set with a
new label. The rules also take a timeout value (in seconds) as an option.
If more than one rule uses the same timer label, the timer will be
restarted whenever any of the rules get a hit.

One entry for each timer is created in sysfs. This attribute contains the
timer remaining for the timer to expire. The attributes are located under
the xt_idletimer class:

/sys/class/xt_hardidletimer/timers/<label>

When the timer expires, the target module sends a sysfs notification to the
userspace, which can then decide what to do (eg. disconnect to save power)

Compared to xt_IDLETIMER, xt_HARDIDLETIMER can send notifications when CPU
is in suspend too, to notify the timer expiry

Eric W. Biederman 1141a45580 net: Use netlink_ns_capable to verify the permisions of netlink messages
[ Upstream commit 90f62cf30a78721641e08737bda787552428061e ]

It is possible by passing a netlink socket to a more privileged
executable and then to fool that executable into writing to the socket
data that happens to be valid netlink message to do something that
privileged executable did not intend to do.

To keep this from happening replace bare capable and ns_capable calls
with netlink_capable, netlink_net_calls and netlink_ns_capable calls.
Which act the same as the previous calls except they verify that the
opener of the socket had the desired permissions as well.

Sherman Yin b9efd921d4 netfilter: fix seq_printf type mismatch warning
The return type of atomic64_read() varies depending on arch. The
arm64 version is being changed from long long to long in the mainline
for v3.16, causing a seq_printf type mismatch (%llu) in
guid_ctrl_proc_show().

This commit fixes the type mismatch by casting atomic64_read() to u64.

commit b22f5126a24b3b2f15448c3f2a254fc10cbc2b92 upstream.

Some occurences in the netfilter tree use skb_header_pointer() in
the following way ...

  struct dccp_hdr _dh, *dh;
  ...
  skb_header_pointer(skb, dataoff, sizeof(_dh), &dh);

... where dh itself is a pointer that is being passed as the copy
buffer. Instead, we need to use &_dh as the forth argument so that
we're copying the data into an actual buffer that sits on the stack.

Currently, we probably could overwrite memory on the stack (e.g.
with a possibly mal-formed DCCP packet), but unintentionally, as
we only want the buffer to be placed into _dh variable.

Daniel Borkmann 7b2252e993 netfilter: nf_nat: fix access to uninitialized buffer in IRC NAT helper
commit 2690d97ade05c5325cbf7c72b94b90d265659886 upstream.

Commit 5901b6be88 attempted to introduce IPv6 support into
IRC NAT helper. By doing so, the following code seemed to be removed
by accident:

  ip = ntohl(exp->master->tuplehash[IP_CT_DIR_REPLY].tuple.dst.u3.ip);
  sprintf(buffer, "%u %u", ip, port);
  pr_debug("nf_nat_irc: inserting '%s' == %pI4, port %u\n", buffer, &ip, port);

This leads to the fact that buffer[] was left uninitialized and
contained some stack value. When we call nf_nat_mangle_tcp_packet(),
we call strlen(buffer) on excatly this uninitialized buffer. If we
are unlucky and the skb has enough tailroom, we overwrite resp. leak
contents with values that sit on our stack into the packet and send
that out to the receiver.

Since the rather informal DCC spec [1] does not seem to specify
IPv6 support right now, we log such occurences so that admins can
act accordingly, and drop the packet. I've looked into XChat source,
and IPv6 is not supported there: addresses are in u32 and print
via %u format string.

Therefore, restore old behaviour as in IPv4, use snprintf(). The
IRC helper does not support IPv6 by now. By this, we can safely use
strlen(buffer) in nf_nat_mangle_tcp_packet() and prevent a buffer
overflow. Also simplify some code as we now have ct variable anyway.

  ---[ end trace da227214a82491bd ]---
  Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt

This comes about because CPU1 is executing xt_replace_table in response
to a setsockopt syscall, resulting in:

	ret = xt_jumpstack_alloc(newinfo);
		--> newinfo->jumpstack = kzalloc(size, GFP_KERNEL);

	[...]

	table->private = newinfo;
	newinfo->initial_entries = private->initial_entries;

Meanwhile, CPU0 is handling the network receive path and ends up in
ipt_do_table, resulting in:

	private = table->private;

	[...]

	jumpstack  = (struct ipt_entry **)private->jumpstack[cpu];

On weakly ordered memory architectures, the writes to table->private
and newinfo->jumpstack from CPU1 can be observed out of order by CPU0.
Furthermore, on architectures which don't respect ordering of address
dependencies (i.e. Alpha), the reads from CPU0 can also be re-ordered.

This patch adds an smp_wmb() before the assignment to table->private
(which is essentially publishing newinfo) to ensure that all writes to
newinfo will be observed before plugging it into the table structure.
A dependent-read barrier is also added on the consumer sides, to ensure
the same ordering requirements are also respected there.

Jiri Pirko fddd8b501c netfilter: push reasm skb through instead of original frag skbs
[ Upstream commit 6aafeef03b9d9ecf255f3a80ed85ee070260e1ae ]

Pushing original fragments through causes several problems. For example
for matching, frags may not be matched correctly. Take following
example:

<example>
On HOSTA do:
ip6tables -I INPUT -p icmpv6 -j DROP
ip6tables -I INPUT -p icmpv6 -m icmp6 --icmpv6-type 128 -j ACCEPT

and on HOSTB you do:
ping6 HOSTA -s2000    (MTU is 1500)

Incoming echo requests will be filtered out on HOSTA. This issue does
not occur with smaller packets than MTU (where fragmentation does not happen)
</example>

As was discussed previously, the only correct solution seems to be to use
reassembled skb instead of separete frags. Doing this has positive side
effects in reducing sk_buff by one pointer (nfct_reasm) and also the reams
dances in ipvs and conntrack can be removed.

Future plan is to remove net/ipv6/netfilter/nf_conntrack_reasm.c
entirely and use code in net/ipv6/reassembly.c instead.

Ansis Atteka 68a9e70789 ip: generate unique IP identificator if local fragmentation is allowed
[ Upstream commit 703133de331a7a7df47f31fb9de51dc6f68a9de8 ]

If local fragmentation is allowed, then ip_select_ident() and
ip_select_ident_more() need to generate unique IDs to ensure
correct defragmentation on the peer.

For example, if IPsec (tunnel mode) has to encrypt large skbs
that have local_df bit set, then all IP fragments that belonged
to different ESP datagrams would have used the same identificator.
If one of these IP fragments would get lost or reordered, then
peer could possibly stitch together wrong IP fragments that did
not belong to the same datagram. This would lead to a packet loss
or data corruption.

Oliver Smith 97d2a12a27 netfilter: ipset: Fix serious failure in CIDR tracking
commit 2cf55125c64d64cc106e204d53b107094762dfdf upstream.

This fixes a serious bug affecting all hash types with a net element -
specifically, if a CIDR value is deleted such that none of the same size
exist any more, all larger (less-specific) values will then fail to
match. Adding back any prefix with a CIDR equal to or more specific than
the one deleted will fix it.

Steps to reproduce:
ipset -N test hash:net
ipset -A test 1.1.0.0/16
ipset -A test 2.2.2.0/24
ipset -T test 1.1.1.1 #1.1.1.1 IS in set
ipset -D test 2.2.2.0/24
ipset -T test 1.1.1.1 #1.1.1.1 IS NOT in set

This is due to the fact that the nets counter was unconditionally
decremented prior to the iteration that shifts up the entries. Now, we
first check if there is a proceeding entry and if not, decrement it and
return. Otherwise, we proceed to iterate and then zero the last element,
which, in most cases, will already be zero.

JP Abgrall c90ab94236 netfilter: xt_qtaguid: start tracking iface rx/tx at low level
qtaguid tracks the device stats by monitoring when it goes up and down,
then it gets the dev_stats().
But devs don't correctly report stats (either they don't count headers
symmetrically between rx/tx, or they count internal control messages).

Now qtaguid counts the rx/tx bytes/packets during raw:prerouting and
mangle:postrouting (nat is not available in ipv6).

The results are in
  /proc/net/xt_qtaguid/iface_stat_fmt
which outputs a format line (bash expansion):
  ifname  total_skb_{rx,tx}_{bytes,packets}

Added event counters for pre/post handling.
Added extra ctrl_*() pid/uid debugging.

JP Abgrall ea34f99edb netfilter: fixup the quota2, and enable.
The xt_quota2 came from
  http://sourceforge.net/projects/xtables-addons/develop

It needed tweaking for it to compile within the kernel tree.
Fixed kmalloc() and create_proc_entry() invocations within
 a non-interruptible context.
Removed useless copying of current quota back to the iptable's
struct matchinfo:
  - those are per CPU: they will change randomly based on which
    cpu gets to update the value.
  - they prevent matching a rule: e.g.
      -A chain -m quota2 --name q1 --quota 123
     can't be followed by
      -D chain -m quota2 --name q1 --quota 123
    as the 123 will be compared to the struct matchinfo's quota member.
Use the NETLINK NETLINK_NFLOG family to log a single message
when the quota limit is reached.
It uses the same packet type as ipt_ULOG, but
 - never copies skb data,
 - uses 112 as the event number (ULOG's +1)
It doesn't log if the module param "event_num" is 0.

JP Abgrall 22aca520a5 netfilter: add xt_qtaguid matching module
This module allows tracking stats at the socket level for given UIDs.
It replaces xt_owner.
If the --uid-owner is not specified, it will just count stats based on
who the skb belongs to. This will even happen on incoming skbs as it
looks into the skb via xt_socket magic to see who owns it.
If an skb is lost, it will be assigned to uid=0.

To control what sockets of what UIDs are tagged by what, one uses:
  echo t $sock_fd $accounting_tag $the_billed_uid \
     > /proc/net/xt_qtaguid/ctrl
 So whenever an skb belongs to a sock_fd, it will be accounted against
   $the_billed_uid
  and matching stats will show up under the uid with the given
   $accounting_tag.

Because the number of allocations for the stats structs is not that big:
  ~500 apps * 32 per app
we'll just do it atomic. This avoids walking lists many times, and
the fancy worker thread handling. Slabs will grow when needed later.

It use netdevice and inetaddr notifications instead of hooks in the core dev
code to track when a device comes and goes. This removes the need for
exposed iface_stat.h.

Put procfs dirs in /proc/net/xt_qtaguid/
  ctrl
  stats
  iface_stat/<iface>/...
The uid stats are obtainable in ./stats.
