Hardik Arya 2da1a238ed diag: Update msg mask's ranges properly
There is a possibility of out-of-bound read if msg mask
ranges received from peripheral are more than max ssid per
range. Cap msg mask's ssid ranges to MAX_SSID_PER_RANGE if
ranges received from peripheral are greater than the same.

Hardik Arya 64e5ce5cc5 soc: qcom: Validate read and write index before calculating ptr
Currently we are not validating read and write index of
tx and rx fifo's before calculating ptr, this can lead to

Jianyu Zhan 9491eb8616 futex: Replace barrier() in unqueue_me() with READ_ONCE()
commit 29b75eb2d56a714190a93d7be4525e617591077a upstream.

Commit e91467ecd1 ("bug in futex unqueue_me") introduced a barrier() in
unqueue_me() to prevent the compiler from rereading the lock pointer which
might change after a check for NULL.

Replace the barrier() with a READ_ONCE() for the following reasons:

1) READ_ONCE() is a weaker form of barrier() that affects only the specific
   load operation, while barrier() is a general compiler level memory barrier.
   READ_ONCE() was not available at the time when the barrier was added.

2) Aside of that READ_ONCE() is descriptive and self explainatory while a
   barrier without comment is not clear to the casual reader.

No functional change.

Pratap Nirujogi 3830ddc265 msm: camera: cpp: Check for valid tx level
TX and RX FIFOs of Microcontroller are used to exchange commands
and messages between Micro FW and CPP driver. TX FIFO depth is
16 32-bit words, incase of errors there is a chance of overflow.
To prevent possible out of bound access, TX FIFO depth or
level is checked for MAX depth before accessing the FIFO.

Amine Najahi 0812b3144e msm: mdss: sanitize debugfs inputs when reading mdp memory
Sanitize debugfs inputs to only allow access to mdp memory block
specified in dtsi file. This change will allow only one single block
to be read at the time and will avoid accessing memory outside of valid
decode space which can trigger AHB error bus response.

raghavendra ambadas 3c7690512e msm: mdss: Fix double free during probe fail
Memory allocated with "devm_kzalloc" is automatically released
by the kernel if the "probe" function fails with an error code.
Therefore, using "kfree" is unsafe because it can lead to the Double-Free.

Alexandre Courbot 4be54ca301 gpiolib: let gpiod_request() return -EPROBE_DEFER
Patch be1a4b brought some improvements to the GPIO error handling code,
but also changed the return value of gpiod_request() when called on a
not yet initialized GPIO descriptor: it now returns -EINVAL instead of
-EPROBE_DEFER, and this affects some drivers.

This patch restores the original behavior for gpiod_request(). It is
safe to do so now that desc_to_gpio() does not rely on the GPIO
descriptor to be initialized. Other functions changed by patch be1a4b
do not see their return value affected, so these are not reverted.

Linus Walleij e66d457a9a gpio: return -ENOTSUPP if debounce cannot be set
It appears some drivers are using gpio_set_debounce()
opportunistically, i.e. without knowing whether it works or
not. (Example: input/keyboard/gpio_keys.c) to account for
this use case, return -ENOTSUPP and do not print any
warnings in this case.

Took a round over the other gpio_set_debounce() consumers
to make sure that none of them are relying on the returned
error code to be something specific.

Linus Walleij 9421c45634 gpio: improve error path in gpiolib
At several places the gpiolib will proceed to handle a GPIO
descriptor even if it's ->chip member is NULL and no gpiochip
is associated.

Fix this by checking that both the descriptor cookie *and*
the chip pointer are valid.

Also bail out earlier with more specific diagnostic messages
on missing operations for setting as input/output or debounce.

  operations in the vtable

Johannes Berg 4afa7c249b nl80211: don't expose wdev->ssid for most interfaces

For mesh, this is simply wrong - there's no SSID, only the
mesh ID, so don't expose it at all.
For (P2P) client, it's wrong, because it exposes an internal
value that's only used when certain APIs are used.
For AP, it's actually the only correct case, so leave that.
All other interface types shouldn't be setting this anyway,
so there it won't change anything.

Commit a61bbcf28a ("[NET]: Store skb->timestamp as offset to a base
timestamp") introduces a neighbour control buffer and zeroes it out in
ndisc_rcv(), as ndisc_recv_ns() uses it.

Commit f2776ff047 ("[IPV6]: Fix address/interface handling in UDP and
DCCP, according to the scoping architecture.") introduces the usage of the
IPv6 control buffer in protocol error handlers (e.g. inet6_iif() in
present-day __udp6_lib_err()).

Now, with commit b94f1c0904 ("ipv6: Use icmpv6_notify() to propagate
redirect, instead of rt6_redirect()."), we call protocol error handlers
from ndisc_redirect_rcv(), after the control buffer is already stolen and
some parts are already zeroed out. This implies that inet6_iif() on this
path will always return zero.

This gives unexpected results on UDP socket lookup in __udp6_lib_err(), as
we might actually need to match sockets for a given interface.

Instead of always claiming the control buffer in ndisc_rcv(), do that only
when needed.

Eric Dumazet 1abb142344 llc: do not use sk_eat_skb()

syzkaller triggered a use-after-free [1], caused by a combination of
skb_get() in llc_conn_state_process() and usage of sk_eat_skb()

sk_eat_skb() is assuming the skb about to be freed is only used by
the current thread. TCP/DCCP stacks enforce this because current
thread holds the socket lock.

llc_conn_state_process() wants to make sure skb does not disappear,
and holds a reference on the skb it manipulates. But as soon as this
skb is added to socket receive queue, another thread can consume it.

This means that llc must use regular skb_unlink() and kfree_skb()
so that both producer and consumer can safely work on the same skb.

Julian Anastasov 56635ddc59 ipvs: fix buffer overflow with sync daemon and service

syzkaller reports for buffer overflow for interface name
when starting sync daemons [1]

What we do is that we copy user structure into larger stack
buffer but later we search NUL past the stack buffer.
The same happens for sched_name when adding/editing virtual server.

We are restricted by IP_VS_SCHEDNAME_MAXLEN and IP_VS_IFNAME_MAXLEN
being used as size in include/uapi/linux/ip_vs.h, so they
include the space for NUL.

As using strlcpy is wrong for unsafe source, replace it with
strscpy and add checks to return EINVAL if source string is not
NUL-terminated. The incomplete strlcpy fix comes from 2.6.13.

For the netlink interface reduce the len parameter for
IPVS_DAEMON_ATTR_MCAST_IFN and IPVS_SVC_ATTR_SCHED_NAME,
so that we get proper EINVAL.

Mike Pecovnik 4ef1beb04e net: Fix permission check in netlink_connect()
netlink_sendmsg() was changed to prevent non-root processes from sending
messages with dst_pid != 0.
netlink_connect() however still only checks if nladdr->nl_groups is set.
This patch modifies netlink_connect() to check for the same condition.

Alistair Strachan dd945fcac6 media: uvcvideo: Fix 'type' check leading to overflow

When initially testing the Camera Terminal Descriptor wTerminalType
field (buffer[4]), no mask is used. Later in the function, the MSB is
overloaded to store the descriptor subtype, and so a mask of 0x7fff
is used to check the type.

If a descriptor is specially crafted to set this overloaded bit in the
original wTerminalType field, the initial type check will fail (falling
through, without adjusting the buffer size), but the later type checks
will pass, assuming the buffer has been made suitably large, causing an
overflow.

Avoid this problem by checking for the MSB in the wTerminalType field.
If the bit is set, assume the descriptor is bad, and abort parsing it.

When computing maximum size of filesystem possible with given number of
group descriptor blocks, we forget to include s_first_data_block into
the number of blocks. Thus for filesystems with non-zero
s_first_data_block it can happen that computed maximum filesystem size
is actually lower than current filesystem size which confuses the code
and eventually leads to a BUG_ON in ext4_alloc_group_tables() hitting on
flex_gd->count == 0. The problem can be reproduced like:

truncate -s 100g /tmp/image
mkfs.ext4 -b 1024 -E resize=262144 /tmp/image 32768
mount -t ext4 -o loop /tmp/image /mnt
resize2fs /dev/loop0 262145
resize2fs /dev/loop0 300000

Fix the problem by properly including s_first_data_block into the
computed number of filesystem blocks.

Eric Biggers 8d60d75cdf crypto: ahash - fix another early termination in hash walk
commit 77568e535af7c4f97eaef1e555bf0af83772456c upstream.

Hash algorithms with an alignmask set, e.g. "xcbc(aes-aesni)" and
"michael_mic", fail the improved hash tests because they sometimes
produce the wrong digest.  The bug is that in the case where a
scatterlist element crosses pages, not all the data is actually hashed
because the scatterlist walk terminates too early.  This happens because
the 'nbytes' variable in crypto_hash_walk_done() is assigned the number
of bytes remaining in the page, then later interpreted as the number of
bytes remaining in the scatterlist element.  Fix it.

If the sysctl 'kernel.keys.maxkeys' is set to some number n, then
actually users can only add up to 'n - 1' keys.  Likewise for
'kernel.keys.maxbytes' and the root_* versions of these sysctls.  But
these sysctls are apparently supposed to be *maximums*, as per their
names and all documentation I could find -- the keyrings(7) man page,
Documentation/security/keys/core.rst, and all the mentions of EDQUOT
meaning that the key quota was *exceeded* (as opposed to reached).

Thus, fix the code to allow reaching the quotas exactly.

Noctis Ackerman 7e389359fb fs: sdfat: Fix frag_ratio formula
When there is no full au in AMAP, if we use the number of non-clean au
divides fsi->used_clusters * CLUS_PER_AU(sb), the frag_ratio is always
smaller than (or equal with) 100%, which is not right.

Actually, frag_ratio should be the the ratio that non-clean aus divides
the number of aus if all used_clusters are contiguous.

Eric Dumazet c4b650c912 igmp: hash a hash table to speedup ip_check_mc_rcu()
After IP route cache removal, multicast applications using
a lot of multicast addresses hit a O(N) behavior in ip_check_mc_rcu()

Add a per in_device hash table to get faster lookup.

This hash table is created only if the number of items in mc_list is
above 4.
